The "Oversight and Transparency for Small Business Certifications Act of 2026" aims to amend the Small Business Act to require the Administrator to submit an annual report on small business participation in certain government contracting programs. The report will include various details such as the total number of small businesses certified for participation, the number of applications received and processed, certification timeframes, and specific information relating to small businesses owned and controlled by service-disabled veterans, women, and qualified HUBZone small businesses. The bill aims to provide transparency and oversight of small business certification processes in government contracting programs.
