The Secret Service-Local Law Enforcement Partnership Act of 2026 establishes an Extraordinary Protection Reimbursement Program, providing grants to State, local, Tribal, and territorial law enforcement agencies for protection activities associated with designated non-governmental properties. Eligible expenses include personnel costs directly related to property protection and equipment expenses for property protection purposes. The Secretary of Homeland Security must report on program implementation, and an annual audit will be conducted. The Act authorizes $61,000,000 for fiscal years 2026-2028, with funds administered by the Department’s Management Directorate or Federal Emergency Management Agency, in coordination with the Secret Service.
